In 2012, we set out to create a great place where people felt safe to leave their dogs, a place where dogs could stay, play, be groomed, and receive training. We knew back then that we had to create a team designed to foster that greatness. A team of individuals that share our vision with a willingness to learn, and are eager to be empowered to put the dogs in our care first, above all else.

Our Mission: "We exist to make a positive difference in the lives of dogs and their owners by Partnering with you to help your dog live their best life."

This can only be accomplished when we deliver on this Mission day in and day out. It is our sincere desire to be the Guide showing the way for clients to have
enriching relationships with their pet.

Our Vision: We will help people and their pets live longer, healthier, happier lives.

Our Guiding Values are those characteristics that we commit to as individuals and as an organization so that we (together) develop a culture that delivers our mission and executes our vision. How do we do that? We do it through people who are:

Compassionate: Caring for co-workers, clients, canines, and others as if they were family

Safety: Health and well-being of animals and staff comes first in decision making

Competent: Don't "guess", KNOW what you are doing Helpfulness: Always stepping up to lend a hand to clients and team members

Honest: Always honest in speech and action

Have Integrity: Doing what is right in every situation, even when no one is watching

As Hot Diggity Dog Resort continues to grow, we hope that these values will serve each new person joining our ranks. Although the goals, principles, and values presented in this book are important, it's really your ideas, talents, and energy that will keep Hot Diggity Dog Resort shining in the years ahead.
